📋 Referral Terms & Conditions

 

1) Definitions

​

• Referrer: Person or business making the referral.

• Referred Client: New customer introduced to Bristol Editing Studios.

• Successful Referral: A new UK client that completes and pays for services.

​

2) Eligibility

​

• Referrer must be aged 18+ and a UK resident or UK business.

• Referred client must be new to Bristol Editing Studios — not already in contact, quoted, or engaged previously.

​

3) How to Submit a Referral

​

• Referrals must be submitted via referral form on the website, email (info@bristoleditingstudios.com), or other official Bristol Editing Studios channel.

• Include referrer’s full name, email, and the referred client’s full name and contact info.

• Referrer must confirm they have permission to share the referred person’s contact details (GDPR compliance).

4) When is the Reward Paid?

​

• The referral reward becomes payable only after the referred client’s invoice has been paid in full.

• Reward will be paid via bank transfer to a UK bank account within 30 days of cleared payment.

• If a client cancels or a payment is refunded, the reward is voided or deducted if already paid.

5) Exclusions

​

• Referrals of yourself, your own company, or a business you partially own are not eligible.

• Bristol Editing Studios staff and immediate family members are excluded unless pre-approved in writing.

• Referrals where the referred client is already an existing lead or client do not qualify.

​

6) Multiple Claims

​

If multiple people refer the same potential client, the first validated referral received in writing will be considered the eligible referrer.

​

7) UK Only

​

Only referrals where the referred client is based and operating in the UK are eligible.

​

8) Data Protection

​

Referrers must ensure they have the consent of referred parties to share their contact information. Bristol Editing Studios will handle personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and UK GDPR.

​

9) Modification and Termination

​

Bristol Editing Studios reserves the right to modify or end the referral programme at any time with notice posted on the website or communicated by email.

​

10) Tax and Reporting

​

Referrers are responsible for any UK tax obligations on referral payments (e.g. self-assessment or Corporation Tax). Referral payments are gross amounts; no taxes will be withheld unless required by law.

​

11) Governing Law

​

This referral programme and terms are governed by English & Welsh law.
